Collaborating with Open Compute Project and OpenPOWER Communities to Scale Out Datacenter Solutions

At the public launch of the OpenPOWER foundation in April 2014, Google announced a platform based on IBM’s Power8 processor.  In early March this year, Google further described the application of 48V in server power delivery architecture along with an intent to contribute an updated Open Rack design to the Open Compute Project (OCP).

In this presentation Google will discuss plans to engage with OCP and OpenPOWER to further advance adoption of Power Architecture for scale out computing in an open, collaborative way.
